I worked as one of OPB's photographers, capturing scenes of the 2016 Oregon primary from around Portland and the state. I worked mainly between the campaign offices of Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, and Portland Mayoral candidate Sarah Iannarone.
I took part in the Portland Women's March, which attracted between 70,000 and 100,000 peaceful protestors of all ages.
My first time doing portraiture. Taken in Waterfront Park, Portland.
Paul on a Wall
I've been trying to get better at street photography and photographing people who aren't on a stage. For some reason, I can stick my camera in someone's face when they have an instrument in their hands, but I can't stand 20 feet away and snap a photo of a stranger on the street without feeling like a jerk.
So, anyway, this is my friend Paul. He's a snappy dresser who loves ORANGE. He, our other friend, Elaine, Sara, and myself were walking around and found this fantastic wall that Paul just had to stand in front of.
